QUALITY ASSURANCE

Protecting the customer

All processing phases are carried out by Intergrana in protected environments that guarantee compliance with applicable regulations. Furthermore, to guarantee the highest product quality for the customer, two quality departments operate within our team. Each of these departments deals with a specific sector, from cutting to packaging; this is an additional guarantee of success and satisfaction for our customers.

DAILY TESTS AT THE COMPANY

Guaranteed safety

The tests carried out within the company are widespread and every aspect is aimed at protecting the customer and end consumer. Each line and every processing step are checked twice a day through tools and procedures which, through analysing predefined parameters and data, are designed to prevent micro-leaks in packs or any other problems that might arise.

PROTECTING THE CONSUMER

Our certifications

Intergrana has achieved various recognitions that certify the quality of the products processed, the raw material suppliers and compliance with specific requirements during processing. Furthermore, we operate with approval from the “Consorzio del Formaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano” and with certification from the “Organismo Controllo Qualità Produzioni Regolamentate”.

IFS (International Food Standard)

The aim of the IFS (International Food Standard) is to promote the effective selection of supermarket brand food suppliers, based on their ability to provide safe products that comply with contractual specifications and legal requirements. It is one of the food safety standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international initiative whose main aim is to strengthen and promote food safety all along the supply chain.

BRC (Global Standard for Food Safety)

It is one of the food safety standards recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), an international initiative whose main aim is to strengthen and promote food safety all along the supply chain.

Organic

In 2017, the company decided to add Ethical and Environmental Certification for the packaging of Organic Parmigiano Reggiano and other products through the ICEA consortium: an organisation which operates in the organic farming sector in Italy and Europe, to encourage fair and socially sustainable development, with respect for people and the environment and protecting workers’ dignity and consumer rights.
